Horrible designs were mentioned in this article in an attempt to explain how when designs are done wrong, they are not seen as how they're meant to be. Designs are important to companies and their reputation since they're most likely going to be one of the first things you see when looking up a company. Whether it is in a logo, sign, or interior, design is everywhere. If they are done without determination then they will surely not have the same impact then when they're done properly. People would just stare at all of the designs and judge their flaws rather than see their meanings. Designs have a big impact in the world and should be done properly and with thought.
