What is your previous computer experience? 

 I have used computers for everyday uses such as, browsing the web, writing papers, and sending emails. I have also used them to edit videos and work on video projects in an AV class I had in high school.

What do you hope to get out of this class?

 I hope to learn to create adequate designs, and also learn to work with photoshop.

What is your expectation with Photoshop and Illustrator?

I honestly don't know what to expect out of these two programs.

Do you have a computer at home? If so does it have photoshop and illustrator? 

 I do have a computer at home, and it doesn't have either.

Do you use a mac or PC?

 PC.

 Are you a Visual Studies Major? If not, what is your major?

 I am a Video Imaging Major.

Who is your favorite artist?

 Leonardo Da vinci

 Who is your favorite musician?

 J Balvin

Tell me something interesting about yourself?

 I can draw very well.

Write a five line story.

 When I was a kid I was very fond of hiding, and causing trouble. One time I went to Boscov's with my family and thought it would be hilarious to hide under a chair in the shoe section where no one could see me. My family started searching for me and I started whispering "over here," in one of those spooky kid voices you hear in movies. My grandmother then started crying and yelled "she's in the wall!" which made everyone give her an "are you serious" look. I finally got out from under the chair which ended our trip to the store since half my family was pissed.

Homework #3

It was really interesting figuring out how Montygog became an artist in his interview. I definitely agree with him him when he says to try to have your own type of style so you can be unique with art. He himself has a very unique art style that seems to fit in well with the companies he worked for. Since it is very cartoonish it works well with companies like Disney, and even Target. He's a very inspirational guy, especially to people who want to follow down the art path, and I feel as though I could learn a thing or two by studying his work.

Homework #2

This Ted talk was very interesting and conveyed the reason why design is so important. Even though this type of design wasn't visuals on a sign, and didn't convey emotion it was showing an importance in sitting correctly as well as comfortably. The designer wanted to make sure that his chair design was perfect for people, and they would be able to appreciate it. Although this chair is something you would feel and only understand through physical contact it is a good contribution to design, and its reason of how it comes in all different forms.
